Not that I would know about it firsthand. I read about most of this on my computer screen, where I gathered up scattered splinters. Sometimes, those splinters contradicted one another.

The thing I'm most sure about is New Black Towers. It flickered orange in the fall sun as I drove bolts into it, pulling its joints into tighter and tighter alignment. And then, the next day, it disappeared.

Outside of my building is a massive black cube, which stands at the edge of my silent road. I believe it is advancing imperceptibly.

And when it swallows me up, the inverted image of my outstretched hands will keep right on burning on the backs of my eyes.
